Advice
Get the most out of our coffee by using a quality conical burr grinder, a scale, a timer and high-quality water. This recipe is known as an 'Inverted' method.

STEP 1
Preparation
Place the seal of the plunger ~2cm inside the chamber.
Chamber side up, funnel in chamber, filter cap with filter in, atop funnel.
Rinse the filter with hot water to remove the paper flavor and preheat the device.
Preheat your chosen decanter, discard the water.
Place funnel and filter atop decanter.
Discard brewer water.

STEP 2
Pour freshly ground coffee into brewer chamber.
Level the coffee grounds.

STEP 3
Brew

Pour 220g of hot water in 15 seconds, aiming to saturate all the grounds.
Wait 15 seconds, then gently stir.
Close the filter.
Let brew for another 30 seconds.

STEP 4
Carefully flip the Aeropress® and place atop funnel and decanter.
With constant, consistent pressure, press plunger through the chamber.
Aim to have a total press time of 30 seconds.

STEP 5
Unscrew filter cap, pop out used coffee grinds into compost, rinse device and set aside.
Serve into preheated cups.
