Advice
Get the most out of our coffee by using a quality burr grinder, a scale, a timer and high-quality water. The standard golden ratio for V60 is 1g coffee to 15-18g water (1:15-18)

The Hario® V60 is a famous Japanese-crafted coffeemaker. Beautiful design features allow water to pass through the grounds, minimizing bitterness, maximizing sweetness and flavor potential.

STEP 1
Preparation
Fold along the edge of the filter and place in brewer.
Rinse the filter with hot water to remove the paper flavor.
Discard water.

STEP 2
Place 20g (for one) or 40g (for two) of ground coffee in the filter.
Level the coffee grounds.

STEP 3
Brew
Start timer
Pour 50g (for one) or 100g (for two) of hot water in 15 seconds, starting in the center and spiraling over the entire surface area of your grounds.
Aim to wet the entirety of your coffee.
Wait 15 seconds before pouring again.

STEP 4
In one consistent continuous flow, pour the remaining water in a spiraling motion.
You want to finish pouring so the water has enough time to drain, meeting the desired extraction time.
Adjust grind size to meet ideal brewing time and desired flavor.

STEP 5
Discard filter and serve using preheated cups.
