Lively and smooth with vibrant acidity. Notes of hibiscus and black tea are wrapped in a velvety mouthfeel.

About the Origin

Washed process using a water-efficient Penagos eco-pulper. Cherries are carefully hand-sorted before pulping and then fermented and graded (P1–P3, P lights) before drying on raised beds for 10–16 days. Varieties include SL28, SL34, Ruiru 11, and Batian.

Produced by the Thiriku Farmers Cooperative Society in Nyeri County, Kenya, at 1,918 meters above sea level. The cooperative was founded in 2000 after separating from a larger union. Located at the foot of the Aberdare mountain range, the region is known for its cool climate and rich volcanic soil, ideal for producing high-quality washed coffees with clarity and complexity.
